Register for digital accessibility excellence in FE colleges - a leadership briefing.
Guest speaker Chris Heathcote, product manager for accessibility monitoring at CDDO, and representatives from Jisc’s accessibility and regulatory compliance teams will be available throughout to answer questions, share their expertise, and help leaders understand and meet their legal obligations.
Paul McKean, director for further education, skills and training at Jisc, said:
“Further education institutions face multiple challenges in prioritising digital accessibility because of issues such as limited time and training, funding constraints and a reliance on third-party products and services.
“Compliance with the public sector body’s website and mobile applications accessibility regulations is not just a legal requirement, it's a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
“Alongside CDDO, Jisc is committed to supporting the FE sector in making learning materials and content accessible and inclusive to all.”
