About
Earlier this year, stakeholders from UK higher education (HE), sector bodies and the policy world, came together to explore urgent conversations around the use of AI in HE, with a focus on the implications of AI for disabled staff and students.
This was the first workshop in the collaborative project, Accessible Digital Futures. Over two years, this project is exploring the complex and potentially transformative interactions of AI and digital accessibility in HE.
We’ll further explore the opportunities for HE to lead the way in ensuring that AI tools are developed and deployed in a responsible way; one that improves the educational experiences of disabled people and does not compound inequalities.
We want you to join the conversation. How do our findings and next steps for the project align with your own experiences? We’ll also tell you how to get involved in project activities and to stay up-to-date with emergent findings.
You will be sent a Zoom link, and accessible copies of any slides, the morning of the session. This event will not be recorded.
