About
What is so different about writing for the web? What can you do to ensure that your content is engaging but also discoverable and shareable? How can you use AI tools to supercharge your writing, and what does it even mean to be a writer in an AI-enhanced world? This workshop will help you answer these questions.
The ability to write and rephrase content for the web is an important skill. Visitors can abandon your site at the click of a button if they are not engaged by what you have written. AI can be a great source of ideas for content and a powerful tool for editing, but it’s also important to consider the role of the authentic human voice.
Since September 2018, legislation means digital accessibility is a right for users rather than a privilege. People writing online content for others need to understand the importance of clear communication for inclusion.
The workshop takes place over two online sessions, each lasting two hours. There will also be some self-directed learning to support the online sessions which will be accredited using digital badges.
