I provide phone and email support for end-users and library administrators, create training and support materials, update online content, administrate institution-level access management, and assist with beta-testing, product specification and design.
I’m a qualified IT service support professional, and before joining Mimas, I worked in first and second line roles providing user support for a wide range of IT, library and e-learning services and technologies.
This helped me to develop skills in remote troubleshooting, communication and application support. Since joining Mimas, I’ve had the opportunity to work on the Archives hub, Copac, Web of Science and Zetoc services, learning more about sector-specific metadata and records, including MARC21 and EAD.
I’m particularly interested in developing superior training materials to help our user community really engage with our services across a variety of media. My degree is in Popular Music and Recording, and I worked in the music and technology field for several years before moving to Higher Education.
