Inspiring learning blog

I have fifteen years experience in digital pedagogy, strategy, and implementation working across a variety of sectors including higher education and business delivery.

My work has enabled me to lead teams and work at a senior level designing and deliver high-quality learning and development activities that utilise technology appropriately to enhance inclusivity while ensuring barriers to learning remain low. A focus of my work is to enable institutional change, ensuring operations and protocols are in place, robust, and scalable to deliver learning activities that support an institution, today and into the future.

My research interests include online curriculum development, collaborative learning, flexible learning approaches, virtuality including the use of augmented reality and mixed reality, and the creation and application of visual learning objects where content remains the focus, not the interface.

To support my practice, I have gained the following:

  • MAODE: masters in online and distance education
  • SFHEA: senior fellow of the higher education academy
  • PGCHE: postgraduate certificate in higher education
