About the role
This is a new role that sits within the analytics cluster, part of digital futures, who are a research and development team within Jisc, creating new national services to support universities and colleges.
There is responsibility to work with IT teams across the business to deal with this project as well as managing these teams. You will be involved in the proper assessments and raising any issues to senior management.
This is a brilliant opportunity to gain further experience in learning analytics. With the opportunity for career development, this consultant role also provides the scope to liaise with the senior management teams across the business.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for learning technology, and an understanding of how data can help shape student success.
A key requirement is the ability to help support institutional change projects. You will be responsible for supporting and planning the strategy in the most efficient way to control the project.
We are looking for a senior candidate who can be the subject matter expert in learning analytics, having a knowledge of policies and procedures to deal with this project. The consultant will need to have technical experience matched with the ability to apply it to business-critical issues.

This role can be based in Bristol, London or Manchester.
Jisc is a geographically-distributed organisation and travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays may be required.
